Nature & conflict

Every Hero has a story. Discover where yours begins.

Identity tells us where a Hero began. Nature, relationships, knowledge, and practical experience reveal how that life meets the world.

Comforts, Aversions, habits, fears, and hopes belong in the story. They can change through experience; no new personality or automatic bonus is required for every important moment.

Reputation, Topics and ToolsCopy link

Record the people and Circles who recognize the Hero, the Topics they know, and the Tools through which they work. Use the narrative for the details already told there and the expandable lists in Additional Details for additional entries. These are parts of one record, not a second sheet to complete.

A profession and its professional standing are distinct: one names the work, the other records the recognition associated with that role. Access describes who will answer when the Hero asks. The sheet derives Status, Conviction, and Composure from the established starting choices.

Capability in playCopy link

Abilities & Training is the place to add a learned ability or Pathway and change its earned tier. Reputation, knowledge, or equipment descriptions do not grant an unearned rank. Hero Statistics keeps the practical values nearby without repeating the identity form.

ConflictCopy link

Use the current Physical and Social Conflict procedures, agreeing the goal, approach, opposition and stakes before resolving the tokens. Equipment supports the Hero’s actions; the description of a weapon or impressive clothing does not invent an additional bonus.
