Heroes possess four primary Aspects: Momentum, Connections, Stories, and Resources.
These Aspects represent a Hero’s ability to sustain narrative influence beyond a single Performance. They are not permanent statistics or abilities, but temporary reserve currencies shaped through action, preparation, relationships, experience, and reputation.
Each Aspect possesses a Maximum Capacity referred to as its Aspect Max. This determines the greatest amount of that Aspect a Hero may safely hold at one time.

Each Aspect is tied to a matching Pathway.
Prowess determines Momentum Max. Influence determines Connections Max. Lore determines Stories Max. Skill determines Resources Max.
Aspect Max = +1 per Training Level within the matching Pathway.
A Hero who is Trained may hold up to 1 of the matching Aspect. An Adept Hero may hold up to 2. A Master may hold up to 3, and an Exemplar may hold up to 4.
This represents the Hero’s growing ability to sustain pressure, maintain leverage, preserve preparation, and shape the world around them over longer periods of time.

Aspects constantly flow throughout play. They are earned, spent, lost, and regained as Heroes interact with the world around them.
Momentum represents action, pressure, and forward movement. Connections represent allies, favors, and social leverage. Stories represent knowledge, memory, reputation, and narrative significance. Resources represent supplies, wealth, preparation, and material capability.
Unlike permanent tokens within the Hero’s bag, Aspects are intentionally temporary. Heroes are encouraged to spend them actively rather than hoard them.

As Heroes advance their Training Levels, their capacity to sustain influence grows alongside them.
Higher Training reflects more than technical mastery. It represents confidence, preparation, reputation, experience, leverage, and the ability to maintain pressure within increasingly dangerous situations.
Aspect Max reflects how much narrative weight a Hero can carry at once before their influence, preparation, or momentum begins to collapse.
