I. The Whisper in Hollowmere "Before the world called nations, it called one listener."
In the drowned lantern-city of Hollowmere, Damalec walked the silent waters alone. There, beneath black roots and still tide, he heard something no voice had spoken. Not command. Not prophecy. But longing. And the waters answered in circles.

II. The First Call "Rhun did not cry out in words, but in resonance."
The sound broke through the marrow of the world and found Damalec kneeling in the mire. Gold and blue light bent through the swamp like living memory. He understood only fragments. But fragments were enough. Something beyond Hollowmere was unfinished.

III. Bargain with the Unknown "To answer the Call, he first bartered with what watched between worlds."
Damalec sought the hidden spirits of rootwater and lantern-smoke. He gave them coin, blood, and promise. In return, they opened paths no mortal chart had marked. The first pact was not of conquest. It was of passage.

IV. Gathering the Six Houses "No story survives alone."
Damalec called the six great lineages of his people to council. War, beasts, harvest, trade, wisdom, and the unseen gathered beneath one flooded hall. Each House brought its strength. Each brought its burden. Together, they chose to follow.

V. The Hidden Channels "The old ways opened when the new story was spoken."
Ancient gates hidden in carved stone awoke beneath Damalec’s hand. Sea-light poured through forgotten arches. The channels between worlds, sealed long before memory, stirred once more. The path to Rhuna had been found.

VI. Crossing the Sea Between Worlds "They sailed not oceans, but the spaces between them."
Through impossible waters the Corvian fleets moved. Stars reflected beneath their hulls like mirrored heavens. Whole caravans crossed the deep paths of unmade reality. Behind them, Hollowmere faded. Ahead, Rhuna waited.

VII. Arrival at Rhuna "The world they found was alive, but unfinished."
The shores of Rhuna were wild with broken sky and untamed marsh. Forests stood half-formed. Stone rose where memory had not yet settled. The land felt unstable, as if still dreaming itself into being. Yet Damalec knew this was the place.

VIII. The Wound of Vesar "At the southern edge of Rhuna, they found where story itself had fallen."
There lay the great scar of Vesar—the torn wound of the Story God. Six silent monoliths slept beneath cracked earth and forgotten light. Damalec stood at its edge and understood: this was no ruin. It was an opening.

IX. The First Concord "Before cities, there was oath."
At the edge of the wound, Damalec laid down his silver-bone mask. Around it, the Six Houses swore themselves into one future. Trade. Duty. Wisdom. Harvest. Beast. Mystery. Not six paths. One concord.

X. The First Coin "From pact came value. From value came civilization."
Upon the first Sealstone, Damalec struck the first Corvian Gold. Its ring echoed across the marshes like law being born. In the distance, the foundations of Dalemar began to rise. And from that single coin, Corvia’s story began.

Before Corvia became the greatest nation of the western seas, before the Six Houses stood united, and before Dalemar rose above marsh and tide, there was Hollowmere.
A drowned city of lanterns and trade, built upon black waters and rooted deep in forgotten swamps.
There lived Damalec.
Not king. Not conqueror. Not prophet.
A broker of favors. A speaker of fourteen tongues. A keeper of debts no ledger could hold.
It was during the years of the Balancing, when Rhun trembled beneath the fracture of Order and Chaos, that Damalec first heard the Call.
The skies split.
Ancient lands vanished.
Entire kingdoms were consumed by storms of Wither, Thread-collapse, and unraveling ruin.
Across the dying world, peoples fought to preserve what remained.
But Damalec heard something deeper.
Not a cry of fear.
A cry of longing.
Far beyond Hollowmere, across worlds unseen, something unfinished called to him.
And he answered.
To follow the Call, Damalec sought the spirits hidden beneath the swamps—the old unseen things that watched between waters and worlds.
To them he gave coin.
Blood.
Promise.
And in return, they revealed the Hidden Channels.
Ancient sea-gates buried in forgotten stone.
Passages between worlds.
Damalec returned to Hollowmere and gathered the six great lineages of his people.
Those who carried the old stories.
The warriors.
The beast-keepers.
The growers.
The traders.
The scholars.
The seekers.
He told them what he had heard.
And though many feared the unknown, all recognized the dying shape of the world they stood upon.
So they gathered their families, their relics, their histories, and their names.
They carried no crown.
No empire.
No throne.
What they carried instead were stories.
Stories of duty.
Stories of companionship.
Stories of harvest.
Stories of trade.
Stories of wisdom.
Stories of discovery.
Together they crossed the Hidden Channels.
Not through sea.
But through the spaces between seas.
Through impossible waters where stars reflected beneath their ships and the old world faded behind them.
At last, they arrived upon Rhuna.
A world still unfinished.
Its forests half-dreaming.
Its skies unstable.
Its lands broken by the wounds of the Balancing.
There, at the southern edge of the world, Damalec found the great scar of Vesar.
A wound in the earth where story itself had once fallen.
And within it stood six silent monoliths.
Buried.
Dormant.
Waiting.
The Corvians gathered around them and began recounting the stories they had carried across worlds.
And the stones listened.
Not to Damalec alone.
Not to one House.
But to a people.
As memory was spoken aloud, the earth answered.
The first tale remembered duty.
And from it rose Tavakhor.
The second remembered companionship.
And from it rose Boskirov.
The third remembered cultivation.
And from it rose Mahisaar.
The fourth remembered exchange.
And from it rose Devarro.
The fifth remembered wisdom.
And from it rose Shenzurai.
The sixth remembered discovery.
And from it rose Vaeloran.
Thus the Six Isles were born.
Each shaped by the stories that awakened them.
Each bearing the ideals of the people who had carried those memories into a new world.
There, at the center of the Isles, Damalec made the First Concord.
He laid down his silver-bone mask.
And the Six Houses swore themselves into one future.
Not six peoples.
One people.
Not six stories.
One story.
Then upon the first Sealstone, Damalec struck the first Corvian Gold.
Its ring echoed across the marshes like law being born.
And from that sound, Dalemar would one day rise.
To this day, every Corvian child learns the first truth of their people:
Damalec heard the Call. The Houses answered. The Stones remembered. And Corvia was born.
