As Vel's hunger spreads across the cosmos, Zal realizes she cannot stand alone. She kindles the Suns of countless worlds, awakening the sleeping gods hidden within them and calling them to war. Across the stars, ancient powers stir for the first time, answering the rallying cry that will become the Great Galactic War.

The Great Galactic War erupts across the cosmos as Zal and the celestial hosts confront Vel, the Devouring Storm. When Vel is finally shattered, worlds perish, gods fall from the heavens, and fragments of chaos rain toward Rhuna. The victory saves existence—but scars creation forever.

The Great Galactic War — Wielding the Life-Flame Blade, Zal leads the final assault against Vel. Each strike tears away a piece of the Devouring Storm, scattering chaos across the cosmos.

In its death-throes, Vel tears open the Balance Plane itself. The wound becomes the Severinia Galaxy, a celestial scar stretching across reality and marking the place where order nearly failed.

The Great Galactic War — Vel's destruction comes at terrible cost. Countless gods perish in the blast, and even Zal emerges wounded as reality trembles beneath the force of the collapse.

Led by Nelni, Halka, and Vesar wander the barren world of Rhuna in search of a path home. Yet the stars that once guided Nelni have been devoured by Vel, leaving only darkness above and unfamiliar horizons below. For a time, even the gods themselves become lost.

Before they part ways, Vesar recounts the names and deeds of the fallen gods. Unable to bear the weight of remembrance, Halka ascends the peaks of Ixatha and weeps until rivers become seas and seas become oceans. Where her tears fall, Rhuna's wounds begin to heal.

When Vel bit into Rhun and the galaxies formed, his shattered teeth carried the resonance of Rhun’s cry across creation. The capacity to hear that ancient resonance became deeply rooted in certain lineages. Much later, when the Call for Balance sounded, people of those lineages answered through portals opened on their own worlds by the gods and deities who had made their peoples.
