With harmony restored between Sun and Moon, Rath and Yul are born into the cosmos. Their gifts bring forth the Ren, spreading mortal life across worlds beyond counting. Yet the gods do not create out of hope alone—for somewhere among the stars, the shattered remnants of Vel still wait to be found.

Victory over Vel in the earliest Lights does not bring peace to the gods. Knowing that Vel’s fragments still drift throughout creation, Zal and Yul weave great orbs of living possibility and distribute them among the Astrals. From these Life-Webs emerge mortal peoples across distant worlds, formed from uncorrupted Threads. Generations of explorers, dreamers, heroes, and witnesses build lives of their own, long before any later Call reaches their descendants.

Among all the servants of Zal, none travel farther than Elora. She carries the Life-Webs between worlds, helping the Astrals nurture new peoples and new destinies wherever life takes root. Yet each journey leaves a trail, and before long those trails draw the attention of Fate itself.

Watching Elora race between worlds in service to Zal, Xantyr calls her down to Rhuna. What begins as a simple meeting will alter the fate of creation itself.

Disguised as Zal, Xantyr convinces Elora that Rhuna must be nurtured and tested. Believing she serves the will of the Sun, she unknowingly becomes Fate's first accomplice.
