RHUNA STORY ATELIER

DISCOVER RHUNA

An NPC who wants something

The most useful person in a scene is often the one who wants something the Heroes can affect. Rhuna’s NPC generator combines identity, a motivation, personal details and a connected opening with practical conflict information. Start with a person rather than planning every part of their future.

How to use the generator

  1. Choose the available Origin and difficulty options, or randomize a person for an unexpected meeting.
  2. Read the identity, motivation and background, then decide what matters in the current scene.
  3. Use the physical or social information if conflict becomes relevant; a conversation does not have to become a fight.

An example to build on

A tired repairer needs to recover a borrowed tool before their next commission. They know who last carried it, but admitting the loan would reveal a broken promise.

Bring it into your story

Writers and worldbuilders can use the personality and motive without adopting Rhuna statistics. For Rhuna play, respect the generated Origin’s innate and sensory limits, and use the stated encounter preset rather than treating it as a rule for every member of that people. Connect the NPC to a Faction, a Place or a local problem to give their request context.

These browser-based tools are free to explore without an account. Use Add to Journal when a result belongs in your WorldKeeper notes, and export backups to keep a separate copy of saved work.
