RHUNA STORY ATELIER

DISCOVER RHUNA

A name that belongs to a person

Names suggest a person’s background before their story is told. Rhuna’s name generator draws from its peoples and cultural traditions, making it useful for Heroes, passing acquaintances and a list of people who might appear at the table. Choose a background when belonging matters, or explore the available options for inspiration.

How to use the generator

  1. Choose the available Origin or cultural background for the person you are naming.
  2. Generate one name when you need an immediate answer, or a list when you are preparing a session.
  3. Keep the name that fits and build the person’s motivation or relationships around it.

An example to build on

For a Gahlian character, a readable everyday name can sit alongside a much longer scroll name whose phrases suggest a history. Use the everyday form in ordinary conversation.

Bring it into your story

These are Rhuna names, rather than a universal dictionary for every fantasy setting. Adapt a result when you are building a different world, or follow its context into Origins and Cultures to learn more about the setting. Veloth and Gahlian naming have distinct styles; a single naming pattern should not flatten every people into the same voice.

These browser-based tools are free to explore without an account. Use Add to Journal when a result belongs in your WorldKeeper notes, and export backups to keep a separate copy of saved work.
