A strange place invites investigation. Thread Anomalies pairs an observable phenomenon with an interaction, a possible use and something that could go wrong. Choose any of Rhuna’s five Threads or discover one at random.
How to use the generator
- Choose a Thread and region, or leave the result open.
- Read the signs and try an interaction that suits the scene.
- Agree any checks and stakes using existing rules; keep the result with Add to Journal.
An example to build on
A sheltered ledge repeats the last sound made beneath it. A quiet test replaces the echo, so an undisturbed ledge might hold a clue that careless investigation would erase.
Bring it into your story
Anomalies are original campaign possibilities grounded in Thread themes. They grant no automatic healing, tokens or permanent abilities. An anomaly alone is not evidence of Wither. Adapt perception clues to each Hero’s available Senses.
